IPv7: The Future of Internet Addressing (or Not?)

  • Alternative addressing schemes: Researchers are exploring alternative addressing schemes, such as Content-Addressable Networking (CAN), that might offer a more decentralized and flexible approach to internet connectivity.

While IPv7 is not on the radar, the internet is a dynamic system. The need for better addressing and efficient resource management will continue to evolve.
